Kisumu’s railway transport set for revamp in new plan

Kisumu is set to benefit from a Vision 2030 master plan that will see the region revamp its railway networks to connect with Kisumu International Airport.

Kisumu Railway Station which was handling cargo, with connections to the EAC market through the Kisumu pier, was closed due to lack of profits.
