PE firm Helios selects vice chairman to Telkom board

Private equity firm Helios Investments Partners has seconded Steven Evans as executive vice-chairman at Telkom Kenya, a newly created position at the telco in which it recently acquired a majority stake from France Telecom.

Mr Evans becomes the first holder of the vice-chairman’s position at Telkom Kenya and will deputise Eddy Njoroge who was retained on the board by Helios.
