Peter Mwangi named group CEO of Old Mutual Kenya

Outgoing Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) boss Peter Mwangi has been named group chief executive officer of Old Mutual Kenya effective October 1.

Mr Mwangi, who is set to retire from the NSE in November, had earlier on worked as the managing director of Centum Investment Company. He holds a BSc (Electrical Engineering), CPA(K), CPS(K) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Mr Mwangi takes over from Rueben Java who has been reassigned to the life business at Old Mutual Zimbabwe.
