Standard Bank Group, Africa’s largest lender by assets, has appointed chief executive of its Zambian unit Charles Mudiwa to head its Kenyan operations. Mr Mudiwa, who took over on Wednesday, replaces Philip Odera who has been reassigned a new role within the group ahead of his retirement.
“Mr Mudiwa has worked in different markets on the African continent and has 20 years banking experience,” Stanbic said in a statement on Thursday.
