Taxi-hailing firm Uber has partnered with First Assurance Company to offer personal accident insurance cover against rider injury or death locally.
The personal accident cover, which took effect from mid-October, compliments the Public Service Vehicle (PSV) insurance that each Uber driver-partner has for their vehicles and beefs up the safety of riders.
