PDM Kenya’s Vienna Court has been ranked the best office in this year’s African Property Awards.
The low-rise modern office complex scored the highest in the office category beating other property professionals across the African region.
The ultimate global winner will be selected after Vienna Court is re-judged against the five-star winners in other regions of the world including Asia Pacific, Europe, UK, Caribbean, Central & South America, Canada and the USA.
The re-assessment will see the 2018 international winners in each category identified as the ‘World’s Best’ at the International Property Awards.
The winner will be known at the grand gala presentation dinner to be held in London in December 2018, after facing an independent panel comprising 80 industry experts.
Venna Court, situated at State House Crescent, Milimani offers highly efficient Grade A accommodation, is designed with minimum impact to the environment and in line with the “Intelligent building” theory.
The Court achieved LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), pre-certification Gold, an accreditation by the United States Green Building Council.
The office complex comprises two crescent-shaped office wings flanking the central courtyard garden and reflecting pools to the East and the West of the property. It also boasts a two-storey ancillary wing to the North.
Members of the House of Lords in the UK Parliament will be part of the judging panel that will be chaired by Lord Caithness, Lord Best, The Earl of Liverpool, and Lord Thurso.
This year’s awards mark the 25th edition and covered over 45 different residential and commercial categories. Regional awards are staged for Arabia, Europe, Africa, Canada, Central and South America, the Caribbean, USA, UK and Asia Pacific and will be celebrated at gala presentation events in Bangkok, Dubai, London and Toronto in the course of the year.
