Nairobi is set to receive €62.914 million (Sh7.33 billion) loan from African Development Bank (AfDB) to build a 220-kilometre sewerage network and waste treatment plant in Dandora to ease blockage and leakage of waste.
AfDB directors announced that the loan would help fund sustainable wastewater services under the second phase of sewerage improvement project dubbed 'Nairobi Rivers Basin Rehabilitation and Restoration Programme'.
