The owner of two lending institutions that were placed under statutory management during the Moi era yesterday told the court that the receiver manager has to date failed to account for monies obtained from the sale of assets.

Mugo Mungai told High Court judge Joseph Onguto that shortly after the receiver manager took possession of Capital Finance Limited (CFL) and Pioneer Building Society (PBS), the receiver embarked on selling most of their assets.
