A court has halted the recruitment of 27 road engineers by the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA), in a fresh legal blow to the roads agencies amid rising litigation over alleged discrimination of engineering technologists.

The decision of the Employment and Labour Relations court comes against the backdrop of a similar dispute involving the Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA), where the court froze the hiring of five cadres of directors and engineers.
