Kenya is in talks with the European Union to mobilise investment for artificial intelligence (AI) computing infrastructure, data centres and connectivity networks as part of efforts to position the country as a regional technology hub.
The discussions focus on developing AI computing facilities, expanding fibre networks, extending submarine cables and plans to bring the Blue-Raman subsea cable to Kenya.
