An article on July 21 indicated that Kenya had frozen plans by Mr Rostam Aziz to set up a gas plant and storage facilities at the Mombasa port.
We have since been informed that the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (Epra) had raised concerns over the pipeline design from the Port of Mombasa and the issue has been addressed.
We regret the impression made that Kenya had blocked Rostam Aziz through his company Taifa Gas from setting up a gas plant and storage facility at the Mombasa Port.
The project is on track and we apologise to Taifa Gas Limited and its director Mr Aziz.
