Nation Media Group (NMG) has signed a deal with the National Basketball Association (NBA) that will make NTV the official free-to-air broadcast partner of the NBA matches in Kenya.
The multi-year partnership will see NTV air the first match on Monday 8 when Team LeBron takes on Team Durant in the 70th NBA All-Star Game at 2:30 am.

The multi-year partnership will see NTV air the first match on Monday 8 when Team LeBron takes on Team Durant in the 70th NBA All-Star Game at 2:30 am.
NTV will broadcast over 25 live games throughout the second half of the 2020/2021 NBA season.
The games include the regular-season games, the NBA Playoffs and Conference Finals, and weekly magazine show dubbed “NBA Action.”
NMG chief executive Stephen Gitagama said the deal offers NTV viewers the opportunity to experience world-class basketball from the comfort of their homes.
“We are excited to enter into this partnership with the NBA to deliver to Kenyans the beautiful game of basketball,” said Mr Gitagama
“This partnership reaffirms our commitment to the development of sports in Kenya and we believe will inspire our youth to take it up as a profession and make it to the international stage.”
The NBA has a deep international presence with games and programming available in 215 countries and territories in more than 50 languages.
