Deep-pocketed businessmen are colluding with rogue lawmakers to pass laws and policies, which serve the interest of specific firms as opposed to sectors and markets, President William Ruto said on Wednesday.
Addressing industry leaders in Nairobi, the Head of State said powerful individuals within the private sector were using unorthodox means, including bribery of MPs and its leadership, to have favourable laws sail through the House.
