The Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation has revived the Sh705 million ($5.45 million) Thuci dam project in Embu County as a public-private partnership (PPP) initiative due to concerns over costs.
Initially, the funding of the dam was envisaged such that one entity would take on the responsibility for all aspects of the project, including design, procurement, construction and financing.
