Ndegwa, Dilip take extra Sh337 million shares in Safaricom

Safaricom’s chief executive Peter Ndegwa and chief finance officer Dilip Pal have taken an additional 9.24 million shares in the telecommunications firm with a market value of Sh337.3 million, raising their holdings in the Nairobi Securities Exchange-listed company to Sh865.1 million.

The duo is among the beneficiaries of Safaricom’s share-based compensation plan where managers are awarded the telco’s stocks for free.
