Treasury unlocks State vehicles for adverts to boost revenues

The Treasury has allowed ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs), as well as county governments, to carry commercial advertisements on their vehicle fleets, unlocking new revenue streams as part of a strategy to ease pressure on public coffers.
Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi said MDAs and county governments are encouraged to optimise the benefits of their transport assets through measures including advertising, without compromising their core mandate.
