A legacy of leadership and commitment to civil society
President Mwai Kibaki escorted by His Highness the Agha Khan, Medical Services Minister Professor Anyang' Nyong'o (right) and Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta (L) arrive for the official opening of the Aga Khan University Hospital Heart and Cancer Centre, Nairobi.

For over a decade, I had the privilege of meeting with him twice a year in his office at Aiglemont, France, during my tenure as Chief Executive Officer, of Nation Media Group.
