Beware of plastic surgery risks

Plastic surgery is a growing industry in Kenya. Previously, most people used to go abroad for the procedures but there are now a number of qualified plastic surgeons in Kenya – although almost all of them are based in Nairobi.

Like in most developing nations, plastic surgery in Kenya is mostly carried out for reconstructive purposes rather than for cosmetic reasons. However, cosmetic aspects of surgery are getting more popular among the urban population.
