Eli Mwenda likes his flowers fresh and simple. The digital content creator and entrepreneur, who co-hosts the Mantalk.ke podcast, buys himself a bouquet roughly every 10 days to two weeks. When he pays for them himself, he spends about Sh1,500, although he sometimes receives flowers as gifts.

His usual choice is a mixture of roses and baby's breath, particularly yellow roses, which he says complement the theme of his home. Sometimes, he leaves the choice to the florist.
