In August 2017, Verley Lee Sembritzky Jr took to Facebook to rally his fellow Americans to support what he framed as a noble, yet profitable, mission: rescuing Kenyans he claimed to have seen “drinking water from a ditch.”
Sembritzky, popularly known as Rocky among friends and family, said he believed God had sent him to Kenya with a mission.
