Uchumi Supermarket’s Chief Operating Office Mr Willy Kimani has left the retailer to return to Naivas Supermarket, eight months after making the switch.
Mr Kimani was wooed from Naivas to Uchumi alongside Chief Executive Officer Dr Julius Kipng'etich who left Equity Bank in September last year, to help revamp the struggling retail chain.
“Naivas Limited today announces the appointment of Mr Willy Kimani as its Chief Commercial Officer. He returns to Naivas where he was head of Marketing ICT and Business Development,” a notice by the local retailer read.
Mr Kimani will run Naivas Supermarket’s commercial strategy to grow revenue.
