A former senior employee of New KCC wants the managing director removed from office on allegations of financial mismanagement and employment malpractices.

Mr Peter Ombati, the firm’s company secretary until March, wants managing director Nixon Sigey, Human Resource manager Magdaline Muthoka and chief finance officer Samuel Ichura sacked from the State corporation.

Mr Ombati, in a suit filed at the Milimani Law Courts, has enjoined the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission as respondents and wants an investigation instituted against the three. Yesterday the High Court directed Mr Ombati to serve the papers on the accused.

Mr Ombati says he received several complaints from the public and employees who gave him information in his capacity as company secretary and the chief legal officer of the New KCC, which is a state company.
