Top supermarket chains last year faced regulatory action by the competition watchdog for various consumer infringements, including allegedly selling pasta sauce containing worms as well as displaying varying till and shelf prices in their outlets.
Nakumatt, Tuskys and Naivas have been listed in the Competition Authority of Kenya’s (CAK) latest annual report as having been investigated following consumer complaints.
