Managing Director Bruno Pescheux said the ‘Zawadi Challenge’ campaign is a worthy investment adding that retailers are the company’s first point of contact with customers.

“Retailers are extremely important to us in our value chain and we will continue investing in them to promote our products at their outlets,” added Mr Pescheux.

The campaign marks the second phase of the loyalty reward programme for retailers and dealers across the country where winners will enjoy fully paid international and local holidays, shop makeovers, shopping vouchers, school fee vouchers totalling Sh450,000 and motorised three-wheeled tuk tuks with carriers.

Earlier, Bamburi ran the Zawadi Challenge and participated in the ‘Afya ya NGUVU’ campaign in partnership with insurance firm Sanlam and financial and risk services company, Alexander Forbes last May.

The ‘Afya ya NGUVU’ programme provides a full medical insurance cover for retailers. The campaign targets 800 retailers with a corporate assured sum worth Sh 150 million.
