Middle East carrier Qatar Airways is slashing prices by up to a quarter to flyers, increasing competition for the sky.

The airline will offer passengers discounts of up to 25 per cent on all cabin classes. Passengers travelling with friends and family can also enjoy a special discount with the airline’s Companion Offer in Premium.

“Passengers now have even more incentive to travel with friends and family, as they can take advantage of our Companion Offer in Premium. We look forward to welcoming all passengers on board,” Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer, Ehab Amin.

Additionally, a 10 per cent discount will be applied to car rentals booked online and to transport booked with Qatar Airways’ luxury chauffeur partner, Blacklane, when using the promocode.

Customers will also enjoy a 15 per cent discount when booking Al Maha services and lounge access online.

Qatar Airways has added new destinations to its network recently, including Chiang Mai, Thailand; St. Petersburg, Russia and Penang, Malaysia, with direct service to Cardiff, United Kingdom and Mykonos, Greece set to launch later this year.

The airline is launching new destinations planned for 2018, including Thessaloniki, Greece and Cardiff, U.K.
