In a report released Monday, the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR) said 126 others were injured.

Thirty victims were aged between 20 and 45, 28 of whom were male and two females.
The KNCHR said riot police allegedly killed 35 people while quelling protests immediately after President Uhuru Kenyatta was declared the winner of August 8 presidential election, which the Supreme Court later annulled.
“Except for two cases caused by civilians, the rest were allegedly because of excessive use of force by police,” the 261-page report reads in part.
