The officers arrested Joseph Munyao, his wife Ruth Kalee, and Nancy Muthoni Muchori in connection with the find.

Police are investigating how long the suspects have been in the criminal business and if the fake currencies and gold are already in circulation.
Police on Wednesday seized fake currency amounting to Sh32.6bn and 70 kilos of what is suspected to be fake gold stashed in a private residence in Ruiru.
The police linked the scheme to one of the alleged con artistes who mimicked President Uhuru Kenyatta's voice to defraud a businessman Sh10 million.
The money was an imitation of different currencies, among them US dollars, euros, pounds and Kenya shillings.
"We found 840 million Euros, one million sterling pounds, 324 million US dollars and one million in local currency all amounting to Sh32.6 billion of fake currencies.
“We have also managed to recover about 70 kilos of fake gold," confirmed Ruiru police commander James Ng'etich. Mr Ng'etich added that the fake cash was discovered following the ongoing interrogation into the case in which seven suspects; Joseph Waswa, Duncan Muchai, Isaac Wanjekeche, William Simiyu, David Luganya, Gilbert Kirunja and Anthony Wafula are suspected of calling businessman Nashud Merali demanding that he provides Sh10 million for purchase of a piece of land in Nairobi's Milimani area.
Pursuing leads
"Officers from the special crimes prevention unit were pursuing some leads following a case which is at Kilimani where some suspects were arrested after obtaining money from a member of the public," Mr Ng'etich said. olice said the money and gold were transported from Lavington area in Nairobi on Tuesday evening to the residence, located in Kwihota area of Ruiru, in a truck as part of the suspected con artistes' efforts to conceal their underground activities.

Ms Muchori was also found carrying suspected fake gold pieces in her handbag while Mr Munyao was found in possession of a pistol.
Police have since established that the suspect is a licensed gun holder.
"He is a licensed gun holder, he has a certificate to that effect but we are yet to ascertain the genuineness of the document," added Mr Ng'etich.
