The 1936 AJS street bike of Gavin Walton made its debut in style as it attracted an admiring crowd of spectators and was placed third overall.

This impressive result also earned him first place in the up to 650cc class for street motor cycles. The annual event held at the Ngong Racecourse drew a multitude, with hundreds of motorists braving the snarl-up on Ngong Road to be part of the action.

The vehicles were not the only ones competing for the crowd’s attention, as the ladies were stunning too. There was nothing vintage about the Fashion trends which ranged from the daring minis and even the popular floral prints.

Subaru, Toyota, and CMC Motors among other dealers took advantage of the event to showcase the latest models in their showrooms. The Jaguar XJ looking sleek, stylish and elegant was on display at the CMC stand, parked next to the Range Rover Evoque.

The almost menacing vehicle overshadowed  its utility counter part, as admirers were left drooling.
