Regional lender Equity Bank (Kenya) and one of its customers in Nairobi are embroiled in a court tussle over an alleged botched transfer in which funds were debited but not credited, leading to a failed transaction at a supermarket.
The dispute, now before the High Court in Milimani, stems from instructions issued by an advocate to move money from his law firm’s client account to his personal account, both held at the bank.
