Safaricom #ticker:SCOM has launched a braille smart watch to enable blind people use M-Pesa services without having to seek assistance from third parties.
The telco has partnered with a South Korean-based technology firm, Dot Incorporation, to develop the DOT Braille Watch, an innovation that displays short message services (sms) notifications in braille hence enabling visually impaired people to read.
