Kenya Railways Corporation (KRC) has suspended operations on the Nairobi–Kisumu route this weekend, citing bad weather.
The company, which resumed passenger operations on the western Kenya route in December 2021 after over a decade, said excessive rains have affected parts of the Nakuru-Kisumu meter gauge rail line, making it impossible for trains to move along the corridor.
