Facebook has partnered with TechCrunch, an American technology news site, to find the most promising African start-up in a competition that climaxes on Wednesday in Nairobi.
The TechCrunch Startup Battlefield will see 15 companies from sub-Saharan Africa pitch their ideas with the goal of winning Sh2.6 million ($25,000) in non-equity funding.
