Seacom unit targets companies with ISO certification software

Pamoja, Seacoms arm focusing on enterprise business such as content aggregation and cloud computing services, has partnered with Camara International as its channel partner and exclusive reseller.

Under the agreement, Camara is expected to provide the technical skills to configure the systems to meet the clients’ existing needs. RUBiQ targets both big corporations as well as small and medium-sized enterprises.

The services are provided on per user, monthly subscription basis, eliminating the intensive capital expenditure required to deploy such systems.

Camara International technical manager Mercy Kang’ethe said the cloud-based software helps an organisation to make informed business decisions, based on facts and not opinions, by monitoring key statistics within the firm.

“The benefits include reduction and the ability to provide access to the system from anywhere at any time,” said Ms Kang’ethe. “The end result is enhancement of operations and better services.”

The software also enables dashboard-based reporting that provides a real-time visibility of the claims and their financial impacts.

“Traditionally, the process of attaining ISO certification is performed manually and is daunted by various challenges given the many policies and procedures that have to be managed.

“However, with RUBiQ , all the process are automated which not only improves efficiency but also provides better governance,” she added.
