The National Land Commission (NLC) is yet to receive any complaints of historical land injustices from residents of six counties, pointing to a lack of sensitisation on ownership rights and dispute resolution.
Commission chairman Gershom Otachi, told Parliament that residents of Mandera, Wajir, Garissa, Turkana, Vihiga and Busia counties had not filed any complaints of injustices, nearly three years after the agency began listening to grievances countrywide.
