The Competition Authority of Kenya (CAK) will pay whistleblowers up to Sh1 million for sharing insider information that will help in investigating companies and individuals for restrictive business practices like price fixing and rigging of tenders.
CAK Director-General Wang’ombe Kariuki Tuesday said that the authority is betting on the reward scheme to unearth more cases of price fixing and collusive tendering that he reckons are some of the most prevalent in the market.
