The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) fined 11 commercial banks for breaching rules on lending, corporate governance, capital adequacy and investment last year, disclosures show.
The banks were cited for violating 10 regulatory rules, a slight improvement compared to last year when 12 institutions were penalised for breaching 11 rules.
