Nairobi County plans to build a multi-storey parking facility in the city's central business district to host 5,700 vehicles daily, a move aimed at curbing traffic gridlock and boosting collections from its third biggest revenue stream.
Disclosures show that the devolved unit plans to revamp a parking facility currently known as Sunken Park to accommodate 3,800 structured parking slots, up from the present 240. Sunken Park is located at the junction of Taifa Road and Harambee Avenue.
