After a long career in film and broadcasting, in 2001 Oliver Litondo retreated to his farm in Kitale, away from the spotlight he had enjoyed for four decades.

Then one day in September 2009, the 62-year-old actor received a call from a film agent in Nairobi informing him that he had been identified for a role in a new movie and he was required to send his profile promptly.
