Crypto fever rises as 50 firms eye Kenya entry

More than 50 digital currency firms, including the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance, are in talks to set up regional headquarters in Nairobi, attracted by growing adoption and tax incentives as Kenya seeks to position itself as East Africa’s leading financial hub.

The Nairobi International Finance Centre (NIFC) revealed that it is engaging the firms as part of a push to attract investment and create jobs.
