The Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) will appoint two new directors to its board as part of an agreement with stockbrokers to prevent the ouster of the CEO amid concerns that the spat could harm the bourse’s performance.
NSE Chairman Kiprono Kittony said the bourse’s board is at the tail end of resolving the issues raised by the stockbrokers’ lobby, the Kenya Association of Stockbrokers and Investment Banks (Kasib), including appointing traders’ representatives as directors.
