KCB rate cut signals drop in the cost of loans

KCB has become the first big lender to reduce its loan charges, taking cue from Central Bank of Kenya’s October policy rate cut.

The lender’s rate reduction could signal the beginning of a new round of interest rate easing, in tandem with the falling inflation rate.
