A South African inventor of the “Please Call Me” texting service will get five percent compensation of the total voice revenues generated by Safaricom’s parent firm Vodacom Group in the last 20 years.
In a ruling delivered by Gauteng High Court in Pretoria, the judge found that the telecom giant shortchanged the service inventor Nkosana Makate.
