The Nairobi county government has announced a fire sale of its idle assets, including land, and could introduce a new tax to avoid auction of its prime assets over a defaulted Sh4.4 billion KCB loan.
The fundraising comes weeks after the High Court cleared KCB Group #ticker:KCB to seize and auction the assets of the county over the defaulted loan.
