The Africa Credit Rating Conference concluded at Nairobi’s Safari Park on Tuesday. Participants were drawn from banks, pension funds, credit rating agencies, and the Capital Markets Authority of Kenya, the regulator of the agencies.
The rating agencies included Metropol CRA from Kenya, DataPro (Nigeria), Agusto & Co (Nigeria), and AfriCatalyst (Senegal). These agencies operate in multiple African countries, rating corporates, sub-national governments and sovereigns.
