The British oil explorer said it had completed loading of trucks as it prepares to carry on with transportation of the crude, following a deal it struck earlier in the month with the Petroleum ministry and local leaders.

“Tullow would like to confirm that the oil transporting trucks are completing loading operations and are ready to leave the loading site on August 23,” said Tullow Kenya country manager Martin Mbogo.
President Uhuru Kenyatta commissioned the four vehicles with a capacity of 150 barrels per day each on June 3.
