“The new Trending Chart is updated multiple times a day to provide a unique, real time view of the hottest new music fans are enjoying,” said Chris Clark, Product Manager, YouTube Music in a post. The platform, according to The State of the Internet 2017 report, has eight million monthly Kenyan users.
The Top Songs chart highlights the number of views of a song.
It will be updated weekly and is calculated by combining all official versions of a song (including the official music video, song used in user generated content and lyrics).
