Property developer Superior Homes Kenya is set to open its Sh800 million holiday homes development in Nakuru County in October.
The firm’s managing director Ian Henderson said Lake Elementaita Mountain Lodge, located on the Nairobi-Nakuru highway, is complete and will be targeting tourists who visit the Naivasha area after the completion of the standard gauge railway link to the Rift Valley town.
“With the expected completion of Standard Gauge Railway Phase 2A that is expected to connect Nairobi to Kampala via Naivasha, Kisumu and Malaba, we expect to see a boost in local tourism in Kenya with the ease of access to Naivasha and Nakuru towns,” said Mr Henderson.
The facility consists of 50 villas, a conference centre, restaurant, gym and spa.
