Ex-MP Mwau gets luxury house refund

Former Kilome MP John Harun Mwau, senior lawyers Ambrose Rachier and Joe Okwach and psychiatrist Marx Okonji have won a seven-year court battle with real estate firm Bofa Investments for refund of cash deposits paid on a botched deal for purchase of luxury apartments in Kilifi.

Malindi High Court judge James Olola ordered Bofa Investments to refund the four individuals and a firm—Rockster Investment—the deposits paid in 2010 for luxurious apartments facing the Indian Ocean following counter-accusations of contract breach.
