How Uber is juggling demands of Covid-hit drivers, commuters

The transport industry has been one of the most affected segments in Kenya by the coronavirus-induced travel and capacity restrictions as well as the work from home concept. Low commuter number have hit the over 12,000 local drivers on Uber’s platform in the pocket.

Head of Uber East Africa Brian Njao spoke to the Business Daily on how the firm is handling the crisis, disgruntled drivers and low customer numbers and the looming commission cap from the government.
