Kenyans back women CEOs, but boardrooms still tilt heavily male

As more Kenyans express strong support for women in top corporate roles, the country’s boardrooms continue to show a clear preference for male leadership, despite shifting public attitudes.

A new survey shows that 88 percent of Kenyans are comfortable with a woman serving as a chief executive officer, signalling broad social acceptance of female heads in corporate leadership positions.
